Little Mermaid Tickets On Sale Now

The curtain is about to rise, and you won’t want to miss this magical under-the-sea adventure! Our talented Goodman Drama Club students are ready to bring “The Little Mermaid Jr.” to life with unforgettable music, colorful costumes, and incredible performances.

Join us for a fun-filled evening (or afternoon!) of family-friendly entertainment as Ariel and friends take the stage:

News From The Library

Dear Roadrunner Families,

Thank you so much for supporting our Scholastic Book Fair in the fall! Because of your generosity and enthusiasm for reading, we were able to purchase $2,000 in new books and favorite replacement titles for the GMS library.

Your support helps keep our shelves fresh, relevant, and full of stories to get in our students’ hands! We are grateful for a community that values literacy and invests in our readers.

January Reading Challenge

36 students and three staff participated in the January Reading Challenge by reading 30 minutes a day at least five times a week during the month of January. We celebrated in February with a hot cocoa party! Stay tuned for the next library reading challenge.

Calling All GMS 8th Grade Parents!

We’re looking for parent volunteers to join the 8th Grade Celebration Planning Committee and help create a fun, meaningful send-off for our students as they prepare for high school. This year’s celebration will be after school on June 18th from 2:45 to 4:30 PM. Whether you enjoy planning, organizing, decorating, or brainstorming ideas, your help will make a difference.

If you’re interested in volunteering or would like more information, please email 8thgrade@goodmanvpo.org. Let’s work together to make this milestone unforgettable for our 8th graders!

Reminder: The Goodman Student Store is open Wednesdays and Fridays during lunch. Cash only!

Attendance - Spring Vacation Plans?

Just a quick reminder to call our 24 hour attendance line at (253) 530-1607 or email rockstromd@psd401.net to report an absence if your child is not feeling well. You have 48 hours to excuse your student’s absence.

Are you anticipating travel plans in the Spring? Please call or email to let us know in advance. Please submit a Planned Absence Form for extended vacations.

Track & Field Registration Now Open

Track & Field registration is NOW OPEN for all students!

Please come out to support our Athletes!

Please be sure your athlete has their ASB Card ($20), is current with their Sports Physical (good up to 2 yrs) and is Registered by going to https://peninsula-wa.finalforms.com/ in order to:

1.) Create your parent account

2.) Add your student(s) to your account and select their sport

3.) Sign and submit your required forms to participate in that sport

News From the Health Room

This is a gentle reminder from the health room that 11 year olds will need to receive their Tdap booster. All 7th graders who are 11 years old must have this booster to attend middle school. This will help protect your student against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis and will keep them healthy and in school. If you have any questions, please contact the health room at kilgorel@psd401.net.

Skip The Wait ... Send A Note!

🚗 Did you know that your student can meet you right at your car for early dismissals?

Just send them with a note to bring to the office in the morning, and we’ll give them a pass. When it’s time to go, they’ll be ready and waiting outside at the time you choose. Easy, quick, and stress-free!
