i-Ready Testing begins Tuesday, January 14th
It is hard to believe that we are already preparing for the second i-ReadyDiagnostic. The Reading i-Ready is Tuesday, January 14th and Thursday, January 16th. The Math i-Ready will be Tuesday, January 21st and Thursday, January 23rd.
The second Diagnostic test is an important way to see how much your students have learned. That's why it's important for them to try their best. The results help us support them in reaching their goals for the year. The most important thing we can do is prepare students and encourage them to do their best. Here are a few things you can do to help your student:
Make sure they get a good night's sleep before taking the Diagnostic test!
Talk to your student about why the second Diagnostic test is important. You can say things like:
The second Diagnostic test helps you see how much you have learned since the beginning of the school year.
It lets your teacher and me celebrate your achievements!
Try your best, and do not rush. But do not spend too much time on one question either.
Remember, the questions on the Diagnostic test change based on your answers to earlier questions. You will see some questions you do not know. That is okay! Just try your best.
Let them know you are excited to celebrate their progress.
Please take note of the new schedule. Thank you for working with us to help your students learn.
